Located on 11 acres on Salt Spring Island, British Columbia, Canada, The Plant Farm has been in operation for 20 years. We sell plants at our Retail Nursery or by Mail-Order. Delivery by truck is usually available to the Lower Vancouver Island, BC. Some of our plants are available wholesale.We mostly sell what we grow here on the farm. Our specialty is plants that reduce maintenance! Bamboo, Hostas, Daylilies, Rhodos, Phormium and Grasses all have the ability to stop light from getting to the soil and are featured at The Plant Farm. We also indulge ourselves by growing a selection of Hardy Exotics which are listed in Select Plants.We have 4 acres of fantastic Display Gardens where we exhibit and test the plants we sell. You are most welcome to visit us and walk our gardens. May is particularly beautiful when the rhodos are in bloom. But there is always something to catch your eye at any time of year. Check out our bamboo groves, Japanese maples, heather gardens or the mature specimen plants and trees scattered throughout.
