Cheques are cashed when received. Charges are made when your invoice is prepared
several days before your shipping date. We offer cash refunds ($10 minimum) or a
credit on future orders. AVAILABILITY
& SUBSTITUTIONS
We
may not be able to completely fill your order due to growing conditions beyond
our control, or an unusually large demand for certain plants. We will not
substitute any plants unless you specify plant substitutions on your order form.
Substitutions are imperative for plant *Specials*. When we receive your order,
your plants are set aside, even if they are not being shipped for several
months. GUARANTEE
We
sell plants that are healthy, well-rooted, properly labelled and packaged. Please
notify us as soon as possible if you have a problem with your plants. SHIPPING We ship on a Monday or Tuesday. Postal rates have gone up significantly in 2005. Therefore we now have two shipping options: Canada Post Xpresspost or Expedited Truck. If you live in an urban area, choosing Expedited Truck service will get your plants delivered to your door usually in less than 6 days. If you live in a remote rural area east of Alberta, then it may take too long to safely ship your plants by truck. We do not make money on the shipping charges. We will refund any overcharge on shipping. If you live east of Alberta, we may not ship your order on weeks when
there is a holiday Monday. We wrap your order on Sundays and pack them in boxes
on Monday morning. Daylily & Hosta Only orders are shipped
by Expedited Truck or regular mail and can take up to 7-10 business days to arrive. PACKING
We
do not usually ship plants in their containers, with the exception of 10 cm size. We remove some of the soil to reduce shipping costs and wrap the plants in
protective material. We pack them into cardboard boxes using bracing material to
prevent damage in transit. WHEN YOU RECEIVE YOUR ORDERUnpack the box as soon as you receive it. Check your order against the invoice enclosed in the box. Plants will suffer a bit from being in a box, but will quickly recover when handled properly. As
soon as possible, pot into containers or plant directly in the ground. Bare root
plants should be placed only in containers. Give a small dose of transplant
fertilizer to stimulate roots. Keep watered until established. If your package
has been damaged in shipping, please do the following:
Save the box. Notify your
local Post Office. Contact us.
Plant your plants unless they are completely destroyed. SHIPPING

USA Shipping - Shipping into the US is difficult. We would only consider shipping large orders (Plant Total over $700). Keep in mind there are additional charges for phytosanitary certificates and plant inspections; and that some plants, like Bamboo, are banned for import into the US.
